Well, yes she is a pretty face that rights her songs (lyrically and musically). directs some of her videos
and does a whole lot of other stuff that she never takes credit for in the public, so next time you judge...think

Ani DiFranco, the inspiration of my poems, she was the first one to open my eyes to the world, I treasure
Ani dearly because she has always inspired me with her words during tough time! I really recommand An's
music, If you don't know her, start being her albums! I was a bubble gum popper (and am partially), but
Ani showed me what real music is! so if you want real lyrical music Ani's what you are looking for.

Janet is a true hero! People always quote her as "Michael's little sister" and that's why I didn't put
the last name on the link, because Janet is an artist in her own right. When you see her video's you
might say that they are sappy love songs, but janet's songs go beyond that if see some of her interviews
a read the lyrics you will know that she is very contreversial, which makes her a true artist in her
own right!

Alana Davis's music is unique, it's comforting music. Whenever I need consolement I listen to Alana's
music. Her music is very calm and soothing. it's a blend of soul and folk, I know it sound strange but
it is! Anytime you are feeling lonely or confused I recommend you listen to Alana!

George Michael is simply one of the best songwriters around! If it's the teeny pop ballad "Careless Wisper"
or the contraversial dance anthem "Outside", he still writes great songs. He has been around for ages
and I think he will never fade away because of his bags of talent!

Tracy Chapman is a true maverick. A folk singer at heart, every song of hers is like a story and that's
what I like about her. She is constantly performing charity cocerts and every album she releases is
special.

Robbie Williams proved that there is life after being in a pop band, I have been a fan of Robbie Williams
before all the "Angel" hoopla! His songs are brit pop/rock that are astounding at times, he is very opinionated
and out-spoken, and hopefully will be forever!

The spiritual icon, artists can't get more creative and innovative! Erykah Badu is great example of an
artist, her music is incomprable and her talents indescribable!

How can I describe madonna, let's just say that without her the world wouldn't be the same! she is extremely
contraversial and that's what I love about her, she made it okay to express yourself clearly! she believed
that freedom of expression is very important, which is true, I sometimes look at Madonna as an Idol.
Ever-changing and always new and fresh, I myself have never known an artist so diverse and out-there!

I have never seen a singer more lyrically able than this woman. her angst-driven songs are very up front
and expressive. Alanis's songs are very catching in an alternative type of way! I hope she never stops
writing such great songs!
